HOW MANY GUESTS ARE ALLOWED ON BOARD?

Each yacht has a specific capacity in terms of registration and number of cabins. The number of people is therefore particularly important when choosing the right yacht. The maximum number of guests is usually limited to twelve. Please let us know the number of your guests and whether they are couples, individuals, or families with children.

WHICH SERVICES ARE IMPORTANT TO ME DURING MY CHARTER?

The range and level of service depend, in part, on the yacht. Primarily, it depends on the crew and their size. The amenities on board are also crucial. If, for example, exceptional cuisine is important to you, please let us know in advance. The crew will be informed of your individual preferences and any dietary requirements beforehand. If you're looking forward to exclusive wellness experiences, yachts with appropriately trained crew members are recommended. If wellness or fitness staff are not already part of the crew, we can arrange them for you. Please feel free to ask us about this.

WHICH WATER SPORTS EQUIPMENT IS ESSENTIAL?

Water sports enthusiasts often choose their yacht based on the onboard water sports equipment. Luxury yachts typically come with a generous standard equipment package. Additional tenders and a range of other exciting water toys can, of course, be booked separately. Action-packed sports such as jet skiing, water skiing, sea scooters, wakeboarding, and Seabob are particularly popular. For a more relaxed experience, try a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. With diving or snorkeling equipment, you can discover the beauty of the underwater world.

WHICH EQUIPMENT IS OF PARTICULAR VALUE TO ME ON BOARD?

For a smooth glide on the water, a stabilizer system is a great advantage. It reduces rolling motions and makes the journey even more comfortable. We particularly recommend a yacht with a stabilizer system if you are prone to seasickness. Those who value their fitness will find a yacht with a gym to be an excellent choice. If top-notch entertainment during your cruise is important to you, pay attention to the electronic equipment of the luxury yacht. Most yachts have Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and an entertainment system. Some of our yachts also feature a private cinema and game consoles.

Here, you need to consider entry restrictions such as visa requirements. Another factor is the time of year you plan to travel, as well as the weather in your desired region. While destinations in the Northern Hemisphere are attractive in the summer, those in the Southern Hemisphere, such as the Caribbean, are popular during the winter months. Also, keep in mind the different rainy seasons of the region. Cruising areas around the equator are generally attractive year-round, but can get very hot in the summer.

WHAT COSTS WILL I EXPECT WITH MY YACHT CHARTER?

Generally, luxury yacht prices are quoted net, meaning that the VAT applicable in the respective charter area must be added. Operating costs are also added. These include expenses for food and beverages, berth fees in ports, and ongoing operating costs such as fuel. These are covered by the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a flat-rate ancillary cost payment made in advance of the charter. Depending on the yacht and itinerary, this is typically 20-35% of the charter price and is settled precisely at the end of the charter. You can find more information in our FAQs.
