SIBENIK
In Sibenik, people live with the sea. The port city is located between Zadar and Split on the southern Adriatic coast. The mouth of the river Krka forms a special geographical feature here: the natural harbor, which is around 2.5 kilometers long. The town grew around the harbor basin from around 1100 AD. Changing rulers of Venetian, French, Bosnian and Hungarian origin shaped Sibenik into the cultural highlight it is today. Sibenik is a popular starting point for excursions to the offshore islands. You will also love the historical flair of the quaint streets.
A dream in white awaits you in the old town of Sibenik. Just like the romantic alleyways, the Cathedral of St. James was built in light-colored natural stone. The Unseco World Heritage Site is unique: construction began in 1431 in the Gothic-Venetian style. From 1475, a Tuscan master builder continued the construction. The special cathedral was used as a backdrop in "Game of Thrones".
When you think of Croatia, you think of turquoise blue water, lush green islands and bright beaches. You will find this idyll in the Kornati National Park. The islets are strung together like pearls: one is more beautiful than the next. Glide along this magnificent backdrop on your yacht, discover the underwater world or book a guided tour. It is well worth it.
