Harbor
SUKOSAN
Between Zadar and Biograd, you will find a very special harbor town: Sukosan. The largest marina on the Adriatic promises first-class comfort. But that's not all: its location on the Zlatna Luka, the golden harbor, makes the many attractive excursion destinations in the region easily accessible. The city itself also has a lot to offer: A lively nightlife, excellent gastronomy and an infrastructure that delights yacht vacationers from all over the world. There are also gently sloping beaches, views of the Kornati National Park and year-round sunshine: What could be better?
The Palac testifies to Sukosan's long history as an attractive tourist destination. The walls of the ruins rise majestically from the clear waters of the bay. In the 15th century, the church had the palace built on an artificial island. The imposing building was unable to withstand the elements and attacks. Nevertheless, it makes a picturesque sight at sunset. It is not for nothing that the palace is the landmark of Sukosan.
Panoramic photos from the Plitvice Lakes National Park turn the travel guide to Croatia into a colorful illustrated book. The forces of nature have formed this untouched corner of the world in an almost unreal way. Waterfalls merge into torrential streams, which in turn create enchanted bathing spots. Hiking, swimming and marveling: everyone gets their money's worth here.
In the Portus Restaurant you are right in the middle of nautical well-being. The restaurant is the culinary highlight of the marina. The architecturally unique facility shines in bright natural tones. All wishes for ambience, enjoyment and service are exceeded many times over.
